Accendo Marketing started in 2010 after the founder sold a software startup. So the creation of the digital marketing firm was accidental!

Greg DiVilbiss had a friend who was laid off from his job. The friend was starting a business, so Greg said let me see your website. It turns out it was a placeholder page with a phone number. So Greg DiVilbiss offered to build a website for him.

Instead, he built the site and worked on search engine optimization. The result was that the friend in his small local business received 40 calls monthly for his services!

Greg thought a business could be created from his ideas on generating new clients, and Accendo Marketing was born.
